I'm deep into rewiringt the studio! I moved some things to get some stand-up space to play guitar and, consequently, everything has to adjust. It's hundreds of wires and a long project...boo hoo.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Gear to all who visit here!

Several of the sites that I have my music on have dissolved into cyberspace. These include backstagecommerce, blastmymusic, unsunghero, and want2bediscovered. GroupieTunes is temporarily off-line. Now I've got to go digging and unearth some more entrepreneurial sites that are still active and making money from the wonderful free hosting of music.

I'm still working on the four songs...the other projects are done. I'm still learning new ways to do (and not do) things on Sonar. I need an upgrade too. It never stops in a dynamic, creative world! ~ Johnny

Working on four new songs...at once. Also helping two songwriters with their demo submissions and song contest entries. Summer's coming! ~ Johnny

Still fine tuning the ZZ website and working on a couple of new tunes with a dance feel. We are on CD Baby and their distribution sites! ~ Johnny

Happy New Year everyone! May your successes match your dreams in the coming year. I stole that quote from Bob Leduc - a great friend and bass player. ~ Johnny

Johnny's going first-person for the New Year...I mean I'm going first-person now.

Johnny is busy creating a website for his band - ZONICZOUP. It will be a focal point for his songwriting. He is also making new business cards for the same reason. Jokerz Wild is soon to be featured on CD Baby! Yes...he is also working on 2 new songs.

Johnny just bought a laptop (so he can accomplish more!?) and guess what...the silly thing has a learning curve! Going from XP to Vista (his software doesn't play well with others) plus a different keyboard layout may be just what Johnny needs to finally send him over the edge.

Johnny is creating and revising a minidisk sampler for the Jokerz Wild album that will play on a computer. He is also doing battle with 3 (yes 3) computer viruses that his anti-virus software says has been taken care of...

Johnny and his album are now also on Facebook.com. He seems to be everywhere...

Johnny is working to fine-tune the myspace.com page for Sonic Soup Music. We hope to attract some extra traffic to our website. Try it out at myspace.com/johnnysonique.

Can you believe it!? Johnny is still fine tuning the website. It has turned into a monster that is growing and surrounding his life like an amoeba in a 50's science fiction movie. He'll get back to his music lab one of these days (daze).

Well...Johnny finally got the lightning directed, the confabulator adjusted, and the electricity generated in his underground cave laboratory so the website is back up and he is fine tuning it.

Happy New Year to all you wild and crazy songwriters whose raging hormones, clever minds, and twisted psyches have brought us pleasure time and time again. May the new year be exceptionally inspirational!

Johnny now has his Graphics Design certificate and is working on several new songs with which to transport your heart and mind. The Joker's wild about you...give us a listen!
Nov 7, 2004

Songwriter Wendell Radke has been doing an exceptional job of promoting the Jokerz Wild album in the New York area.

Yes...Johnny Sonique is still alive! Now he's going to school for Graphic Design to improve on those catchy CD covers for his music. Being somewhat warped he's also trying some new things on the synth and in the computer. Fighting for the Indie way of life, he marches onward.

Johnny is running around like crazy rebuilding websites, promoting music, getting together with songwriters, coaxing his computers to do the right thing, and getting deep into his next album. The music cave is awash with strange lights and sounds, and the electricity of creation!

Johnny Sonique is a carbon-based human music machine. He has been making strange sounds and singable music since the middle 70's. Johnny's studio cave, located deep "underground"- and under tons of ideas, has ancient and modern Frankenstein gear which he abuses to morph pop songs into his many sonic creations.

Johnny has a long-standing relationship with lyricists and songwriters such as Steve Jansen, Des Gahan, Wendell Radke, and George McKinney and uses a combination of computers, synths and acoustic instruments, stirring them into the soup of traditional music.
